HALO BLIND  take to the stage on Sunday evening (22nd May), setting the tone for a monumental night of music.  Epic, majestic, inventive and cutting-edge, Halo Blind will cast a spell with their hypnotic tunes and raw stage energy.

Inspired by the likes of Sigur Ros, Pink Floyd, Boxer Rebellion and Radiohead, the group recently released their second album - Occupying Forces - which has been widely lauded for its direct, fearless songwriting, and nuanced, excellent musicianship.

Their debut album 'The Fabric’*  launched the band into a brave new orbit, somewhere on the fringes of alternative rock and contemporary progressive music, but determined to carve their own niche.
This was majestic music, full of cerebral concepts and ethereal beauty... but never taking its foot off the gas. The band effortlessly hit both ends of the spectrum, from delicate frailty to dark and twisted rage.

This luminous creativity soon attracted the attention of the music press, and Halo Blind picked up the award for Best New Band from the Classic Rock Society.

Live on tour they have cemented their reputation as a high-energy, must-see band, with highlights including a stellar performance on the Garden Stage at the Isle of Wight Festival.

 HALO BLIND are:
Chris Johnson, Stuart Fletcher, Alex Cromarty, Chris Farrell and Andy Knights.

Individually they are known for their work with Fish, The Seahorses, Mostly Autumn, Mantra Vega, and St Etienne.
Together, such a collection of musicians in one band has seen them dubbed a ‘UK Prog supergroup’ and a ‘megagroup’  (Prog Magazine).

2016 will see Halo Blind writing their third album and taking to the road, including a full tour with the Heather Findlay band, and selected festival appearances.

Powerful and complex, yet completely accessible, Halo Blind make cerebral music that rocks.
