LUNA ROSSA will need no introduction to the strongest core of PANIC ROOM fans, as they are the critically-acclaimed acoustic band created by Anne-Marie Helder and Jonathan Edwards!
Known by many as the ‘little sister’ of PANIC ROOM, Luna Rossa are indeed linked by their 2 main songwriters - and this makes for some stunning and award-winning music in both bands! Bu, those familiar with the music of Luna Rossa will know that this is a very different beast indeed - both on recordings and the live stage. In 2013 they released the debut album ‘Sleeping Pills & Lullabies’, which unveiled a whole new world of rootsy, raw and beautifully intimate music. Their sound is rooted in the timeless simplicity of acoustic guitar, piano and voice... But they also work with some extraordinary guest musicians to bring extra depth and contrast to the music. For this show they will be joined again by the shimmering Celtic harp of Sarah Dean, who will also be playing a solo set at the festival with her beautiful & ethereal self-penned material! This choice of instrumentation creates a timeless and uplifting soundscape, where there is plenty of space and freedom to enjoy the essence of each song, and let it truly 'breathe'. There are tracks of transcendent beauty, sitting happily alongside powerful rhythmic numbers - all played with true joy and passion. Luna Rossa's sound has been described as 'Fresh and 21st-Century, yet sublime and timeless'. |

In addition to fronting PANIC ROOM, she is also no stranger to the acoustic scene, having toured as a solo artist for many years - including opening shows on the worldwide stage with such legends as Steve Hackett, Ultravox, Fish, Glenn Tilbrook and Nick Harper. But it is the winning combination of Helder and Edwards, exploring a very different acoustic path into the forest - along with their band of world-class musicians - which make Luna Rossa something very special indeed.
